FAQ

FAQ

Practical answers to common questions.

Yes. After configuring the LinkedIn OAuth2 credential, the agent can publish posts to either a personal profile or a company page. It handles the authentication flow, permissions, and destination selection. You’ll see a status update and a preview before posting. If permissions change, you can re-authenticate easily. In case of errors, the workflow logs include detailed diagnostics to help you fix issues quickly.

Absolutely. Captions are produced by an AI model and can be edited in the built-in caption editor. You can adjust tone, length, hashtags, and call-to-action phrases. The editor shows a live preview if you want to verify how it reads in context. You can save preferred caption variants for future posts. The system also suggests alternative captions if you want more options.

You can select from the six templates and edit the HTML-to-image rendering parameters. The workflow can be configured to rotate templates or pick randomly for variety. If you need new templates, you can swap in updated designs without changing the overall flow. It preserves aspect ratios and LinkedIn-suitable dimensions by default. You can preview each design before posting.

Processing times are typically 10–20 seconds from upload to preview. Rendering six images and generating captions happen in parallel, so the user gets multiple options quickly. The built-in editor allows for rapid final tweaks. The publish action returns a status and post URL for verification. If you’re submitting in bulk, results follow the same latency pattern per item.

The current flow supports publishing to a single destination per post (personal or one company page). You can duplicate the post for each destination within the UI or automation, then publish in sequence. If you need multi-destination publishing as a built-in batch, the workflow can be extended to handle that scenario. This ensures each post lands with correct targeting and captions. There’s no cross-posting risk since each post is independent.

The agent's core integration is designed around LinkedIn publishing. You can, however, reuse the design and caption workflows for other platforms with minor adjustments to templates and post APIs. OpenAI caption generation work remains content-agnostic and can be adapted to different brand voices. We recommend validating platform-specific rules to ensure compliance. If you need broader social coverage, we can architect a multi-platform extension.

OpenAI and LinkedIn integrations are configured in the workflow: add your OpenAI API key to the ChatGPT HTTP Request node and establish a LinkedIn OAuth2 credential in n8n. The process includes selecting the post destination and permissions, then testing the flow with a sample submission. The system uses secure storage for API keys and credentials. If you run into issues, you can review execution logs and re-authenticate as needed.
