Agentic UX Designer
Design the experience of working with AI agents.
AI agents create new design challenges. When should an agent ask a follow-up question, show a recommendation, display a form, or help someone complete a booking?
You’ll shape both sides of that experience: how people create agents on Agentplace and how customers interact with published agents.
About Agentplace
Agentplace is a platform for building AI agents that serve customers. Agents can answer questions, help people choose services, handle customer service, and guide customers toward bookings or other outcomes.
We’re based in San Francisco and have been featured in VentureBeat, USA Today, and Fast Company.
What you’ll do
- Audit and improve the Agentplace builder, including onboarding, agent creation, and publishing.
- Design conversation flows that help agents greet customers, ask useful questions, make recommendations, and guide people toward a next step.
- Design customer-facing agent interfaces, including chat, cards, forms, and interactive elements.
- Explore how conversation and visual UI can work together to make agents more useful.
- Turn user feedback and analytics into clear, testable design improvements.
- Create reusable templates and design patterns that help agents deliver consistent, polished experiences.
Who you are
You’re a product or UX designer interested in what happens when software becomes more conversational and adaptive. You care about usability, visual quality, and helping people accomplish tasks without unnecessary friction.
You might be:
- A product or UX designer who works in Figma.
- A conversational or chatbot designer.
- A web designer who builds in Framer or Webflow.
- A designer who prototypes with AI tools such as Cursor, Lovable, or v0.
- A freelancer who designs websites, interfaces, or chatbots for clients.
You should be comfortable evaluating an existing product, explaining what’s not working, and proposing practical improvements.
Nice to have
- Experience designing chat interfaces, voice assistants, or AI products.
- Experience prototyping interactions or working closely with developers.
