Because dogs are not interchangeable. Shared runs, separations, isolation requirements and size limits all change what a given set of bookings actually consumes, and a free-run count ignores every one of them.

It should identify them and stop. Whether two particular dogs can be housed near each other is a judgment based on knowing the animals, and getting it wrong has consequences no booking convenience justifies.

It should send your payment link and record when payment clears. Peak bookings made months ahead without a deposit are the ones that evaporate in July, so taking it at the point of commitment matters more here than in most trades.
