Building your agent

Create an AI agent from your existing website

You can create an AI agent using your existing website as the starting point. Give the Agentplace AI Builder the URL and describe what customers should be able to do. It can use accessible content, images, and branding to build an agent with its own page and URL. Customers can then describe their needs by text or voice and work with an interface the agent updates around their task.

What should I give the Builder?

A website URL and a short business goal are enough to start. You can ask the Builder to explore suitable tasks with you before creating the agent. You do not need to write a technical specification.

  • The address of your website.
  • The customer task you want the agent to handle, such as preparing a quote or recommending a product.
  • Any important pages, materials, or business rules that the website does not explain.
  • What should stay recognizable, including your brand, images, offer, and tone.

Example request for a furniture business

Create an AI agent using my furniture business website at https://example.com. Keep our branding and product information. Help customers choose a table for their room, budget, and preferred style, then request a quote. Ask me for any missing sizing or pricing rules.

How does the Builder use my website?

The Builder starts with the homepage and a useful customer action, then expands the experience as you refine it. Review additional pages and tasks with it rather than assuming that every page has already been recreated.

If a page cannot be read or requires access, provide the relevant files or text. A website address alone does not connect its booking system, customer database, or payment account.

Website materialHow it helps your agent
Products, services, and pricesProvide the business facts used in recommendations and answers.
Policies and frequently asked questionsExplain constraints, eligibility, and what to do in common situations.
Logo, images, colors, and toneHelp preserve a recognizable experience for your business.
Forms, booking links, and other actionsIdentify the steps customers need to complete and which connections require setup.

What changes for my customers?

Your AI agent can use the business information to help each visitor complete a task. It can ask about a room, compare suitable tables, and show a recommendation that changes when the customer revises their budget. Connected tools can handle the next action you choose.

Tell the Builder which result matters and which rules to apply. The website supplies useful material, while your business goal defines the work the agent should perform.

How do I review and launch the agent?

Creating the agent does not change or take down your existing website. You choose when to share the new experience or point a domain to it.

  1. Check the preview against your current products, prices, policies, and brand.
  2. Try a complete customer task and ask for changes in plain language.
  3. Connect the apps needed for real bookings, payments, or other actions and test the result.
  4. Publish when ready and share the agent URL. Connect your own domain if you want to use it for the agent.

Will the agent automatically follow changes to my website?

Using website content during creation does not establish an ongoing sync. When an offer or policy changes, give the Builder the updated information and review the result. If the agent needs live prices or availability, ask for a connection to the relevant business system.
