Connect other AI agents and workspaces

An Agentplace agent can participate in connected AI workflows. It can remain the customer-facing experience while configured tools or other agents continue part of the work. Published agents also expose an MCP connection for compatible clients, subject to authentication and access settings.

Two directions of connection

These are separate setups. An MCP address does not automatically give the web agent access to all conversations, files, or automations in another AI workspace.

DirectionWhat happens
Another AI client uses your agentA compatible MCP client connects to the published agent using the connection details and required authorization.
Your agent delegates part of a taskA configured tool or connected agent receives the permitted inputs and returns a result or continues an agreed workflow.

Keep the customer’s experience connected

Describe which data should leave the customer session, who receives it, and what should come back. The customer should not need to repeat the same brief simply because part of the work moved to another system.

Advisor preparation

A customer plans a trip with your public agent. A connected workflow uses the agreed itinerary to prepare an advisor brief. The customer agent can present relevant returned information or explain that the team will continue the work.

Check the destination and permissions

For Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI workspace, verify the specific client’s supported connection method, account requirements, and available tools. Connecting an account or MCP client is not the same as granting access to every personal chat.

Test authentication, allowed tasks, failures, and return values before offering the workflow. Do not claim that another agent completed an action until the connected system confirms the relevant result.
